MUŻA

I conducted this work as part of my role at MUŻA - The National Community Art Museum (Malta), where I was a Project, Communications and Information Technology Coordinator.

My role mainly involved providing technology advice ranging from audiovisual to educational and user experience (UX). I was also actively involved in enhancing the user journey in the museum - ranging from a revamped online digital experience to the concept of a handheld multi-touch interactive device.

I was engaged as a project coordinator to ensure coherence between different aspects of the museum, such as the restaurant/cafe, merchandise store and the exhibited collection. I also coordinated and advised on merchandise product development with artists. My third role at the museum was communications. I was responsible for publicising the museum's work, creating media campaigns, coordinating events, and developing and maintaining the museum's social media presence on several platforms and the official website.

As part of my role as ICT coordinator, I took it upon myself to develop an enhanced web presence for the museum - allowing potential visitors to explore the collection online, book tickets, and plan their visit.  The process involved conducting user interviews, creating personas, affinity mapping, paper prototyping, and hi-fi prototyping.
