Ran Workshop at HRI 2026
On the 16th of March, we ran our third Worker-Robot Relations (WRRs) workshop at the Human-Robot Interaction Conference in Edinburgh. This year we focused on world-building around WRRs to create rich futures for a number of domains. We are thrilled to have had Ann Pendleton-Julian as keynote speaker, and as our world-building coach. Live Research at the Highlight Festival
Together with Olger Siebinga, I ran 'Sidewalk Salsa', a collaborative live research project tha t ran during the Highlight Festival , an art tech festival held in Delft. It investigated how people and robots can navigate and pass each other in shared public spaces such as hallways or pavements. Lecture on Digital Heritage and XR at CWI
On the 19th of November, I was invited to present my research endeavours at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), which, amongst great accomplishments in computing and the internet in Europe, is considered the birthplace of the Python programming language.
