Between the 13th and 17th of April, I attended CHI in Barcelona! On the 16th of March, we ran our third Worker-Robot Relations (WRRs) workshop at the Human-Robot Interaction Conference in Edinburgh. This year we focused on world-building around WRRs to create rich futures for a number of domains. We are thrilled to have had Ann Pendleton-Julian as keynote speaker, and as our world-building coach. Together with Olger Siebinga, I ran 'Sidewalk Salsa', a collaborative live research project tha t ran during the Highlight Festival , an art tech festival held in Delft. It investigated how people and robots can navigate and pass each other in shared public spaces such as hallways or pavements. On the 18th of September, XR researchers and practitioners gathered in Ede , The Netherlands to present their projects and work.
